How to get to SalzburgBy planeSalzburg has a small international airport with direct connections to several major European airports (Frankfurt, Vienna, etc.). However, Salzburg can be reached by train from the big international airport at Vienna in about 3 hours and from the big international airport at Munich in about 2 hours. By trainSalzburg has a train station which has direct connections to many cities in Austria and Germany. If you plan your travel to Salzburg by train we recommend to look for your train connection at SCOTTY. Venue of the conferenceThe conference will take place at the "Freisaal"-building (formerly "NaWi"-building) of the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg; see also Google Maps.All talks will be take place in the Auditorium Maximum (Audimax, HS 401, HS34EG0.G-001); see here and below. Please note that there is a big screen for beamer presentations in the lecture room, but there are only (rather) small chalkboards available.  |
